Sekolah Menengah Sains Selangor gets rugby jerseys from XYBASE

Once again in their initiative to nurture rugby to greater heights locally, XYBASE has sponsored a complete set of rugby jerseys to the entire rugby team for Sekolah Menengah Sains Selangor in Cheras.

The rugby grounds of the school witnessed a momentous occasion on the 23rd. of April, 2001. Present were En. Jamil Shaari and family on behalf of XYBASE to give out the jerseys to the school's rugby team.

Following the handing over of the jersey was a friendly match between the school rugby teams and the old boys rugby team of the school. Glory was handed over to the old boys as they eased their way to winning the game for the day.

XYBASE made their debut in the world of rugby in the year 2000 during the XYBASE - SMSS Tens followed by numerous other rugby events. The latest one being the Malaysia Sevens - IRB World Sevens Series.
