
PROVISION OF COMPUTER MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR THE ACCOUNTANT GENERAL OFFICE MALAYSIA'S
EG - AG SYSTEM PHASES 1, 2 & 3
Putrajaya, 23 October 2003 - XYBASE signed a contract with the Malaysian government to provide computer maintenance services for the Accountant General's Office. The simple signing ceremony was held at the Malaysian Administrative Modernization and Planning Unit (MAMPU) office in Putrajaya.
This contract outlines the maintenance and support services rendered by XYBASE to 33 Accountant General's (A.G) site offices throughout east and west Malaysia subsequent to the roll out of the Elektronik Sistem Perancangan Kawalan Belanjawan (e-SPKB) and Master System Integration project.
Pn.Nazariah Binti Mohd Khalid, Ketua Pengarah from MAMPU and President of XYBASE, En. Suhaimee Abu Hassan were present at the signing ceremony which is witnessed by Datuk Siti Maslamah Binti Osman from Jabatan Akauntan Negara Malaysia.
XYBASE Maintenance and Support group is a one-stop MIS partner providing end-to-end support on a multiple platform environment. The nationwide support within this contract covers from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m at all sites. For the states of Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu, it will be effective from Saturday until Thursday whereas all other states will be supported from Monday until Saturday.

XYBASE has a strong team of 30 Support/Helpdesk Engineers who are backed by over 100 Software and System Engineers to ensure effectiveness and quality service is provided. It also has a Call Centre to ensure that services are rendered promptly.
The scope of services within this contract consists support and preventive maintenance at 33 Jabatan Akauntan Negara Malaysia (JANM) sites, for hardware, all operating systems and databases. Besides that, it also covers application software support for all the eSPKB and its related systems.
