Description: XYBASE developed the Intranet and Internet Web-based Application development for JBE. This integrated JBE system consists of 11 modules, which are all integrated with the Collection Module. The modules are: 1. Examination Module 2. Competent Module 3. Contractor Module 4. Installation Module 5. License Module 6. Electrical Equipment 7. Complaint Module 8. Investigation Module 9. Compound Module 10. Collection Module 11. Web Application. Internet and Intranet Web-based Application development is developed using Oracle developer Form and Report 6i. Its database is Oracle 8i, which resides in the IBM Netfinity Machine with NT 4.0 as the Operation System. This database, located at JBE Headquarters, is a central database for 9 JBE branches throughout Malaysia. The Oracle Application Server resides in the IBM RS6000 F80 Machine with AIX as the Operation System. The Web database, namely Postgres resides in the Web Server - Dell PowerEdge 2400 with Linux as the Operating System.
