XYBASE is responsible to develop the Group 2 and Group 4 application that is the Human Resource and Payroll and the Healthcare and Customer Relationship Management System.

The Application Development Tools used was the Microsoft Visual Studio Net and the database was Oracle 9i running on Sun server.

The objective of PJIIS is to develop an information system that will cater for MPPJ's existing needs as well as to provide a platform to build future applications planned or new services and facilities. This will require a seamless fully integrated system between application and information flow. PJIIS is also an open-ended integration, which will allow the flexibility to implement any technological advancement without comprising control and workability.

With this new system, MPPJ will be able to monitor its operation effectively by having a fully integrated system.

For XYBASE, this is another opportunity for us to expand our knowledge on the local council sector. It is also a fast track project. We will need to work closely with other vendors to ensure this project is a success.
