Description:
	Diesel is a very crucial commodity in any nation’s economy, as it provides the raw fuel to other products and services creation. The government’s policy of subsidy for diesel is yet another key strategy in managing inflationary conditions that might affect the cost of living and many others. The SKDS is for the full monitoring and control of diesel subsidy and one of its main enablers will be the Oilco’s current Fleet Card System (FCS). Core to SKDS will be the Diesel Management Information System (DMIS) that is to be developed utilizing state of the art open source technology.
The diagram below shows the various components and interfacing with the various stakeholders that makes up SKDS.

Developing a project with such a demanding timeline represents some major challenges. Amongst them is the availability of users for consultation and the availability and integrity of data from JPJ and LPKP. Riding on the current Oilco FCS is a great relief but the Oilco needs to do their part in ensuring that the FCS is ready with the necessary features and functionality plus, to ensure that the interfacing with KPDN’s DMIS is attended to immediately.

It is an honour for us to be associated with this project which has such economic importance to the country. Though it is extremely tight, but XYBASE has successfully completed the development and interfacing in eight (8) weeks.
