TTdC requires a comprehensive system that allows TTdC to serve customers effectively, manage business processes efficiently, and keep pace with any size competitors. With this objective in mind, XYBASE has provided a solution to enable the TIME Payment System (TPS) to be easy-to-use, an affordable solution suite that streamlines business processes, integrates with other applications, and adapts to meet TTdC specific needs. The TPS will consist of:

• Revenue Collection Management
• Inventory Management
• Retail Management
• Head Quarters (HQ) Module.

The primary function of the TPS is to enable TTdC to effectively monitor and manage its payment centers as well to ensure continuity of its services. TPS will provide TTdC with on-line information on inventory tracking and customizable reporting that allows analysis on information that is required to ensure that retail revenue generation is constantly maximized. TPS users will be able to make informed decisions based on the results and information provided by the system to ensure consistently that the branches is effectively utilized to maximized revenue. With the TPS, the branch is now able to collect more than just payments but is able to capitalize on the traffic flow into the branches. Integration between other systems with TPS such as ARBOR for payment updates, SAP for inventory and EDC for credit card information is also critical success factors.

The overall architecture of TPS is based around the concept of partitioning the whole system into individual components that perform distinct functions. The physical structure of the TPS broadly reflects the logical component approach. In general, each component is developed separately and can operate as an independent entity.

The TPS system will be developed based on the following tools to enable successful implementation and integrated process management.

• Oracle 9iAS as the application server
• Oracle JDeveloper as the development tool for backend HQ modules.
